It is always important to check tyre pressures, but this becomes even more important with trailers. Low tyre pressures can make a trailer far more likely to weave and snake at lower speeds, check your pressures with a tyre pressure guage.
When towing a heavy trailer the front end of the tow vehicle may be forced upwards by the weight pushing down on the towbar. Make sure that you adjust your headlight beam downwards to prevent dazzling oncoming drivers with your lights.
Anybody know what the standard service interval is for caravan wheel bearings. I am sure I can detect a rumbling noise transmitting itself through the towbar from the caravan. Mablethorpe has been in existence for a number of centuries but part of it was lost to the sea in the 1500s. Records of the Fitzwilliam family of Mablethorpe Hall date back to the 1300s. In the 19th century it was also a centre for ship breaking during the winter. Mablethorpe Hall is to the west of the town along Alford Road. It is near the parish church of St Mary. The Mablethorpe church group also includes Trusthorpe.
