It is widely believed that car transporters do not require and MOT or road TAX. This is incorrect, there are a few exceptions but a standard recovery truck with a beaver tail and ramps requires both MOT and TAX, regardless of the Logbook
There is currently no legislation that stipulates the maximum height for a trailer. Clearly, the higher your trailer relative to the track of its wheels, the more unstable it will be. Go too high and you will strike a bridge!
The head gasket on my Rover 216 has blown in a big way, I have mayonaise instead of water where the oil and water have mixed. Also, its blowing hard out of the header tank. Does anybody now if that K-Seal block sealer works?...View Entire Thread
Wallsend, Tyne and Wear lies just to the east of Newcastle and its name can be derived to mean Walls End, referring of course to the famous Hadrains Wall which stretches across the north. Wallsend is a reasonably large town with a population of just over 40,000 inhabitants.
