When towing with a normal passenger car in the UK the maximum permissible width for a trailer is 2.3 meters. However, the load attached to the trailer can overhang the sides by up to 30cm on each side giving a total width of 2.9m.
There is currently no legislation that stipulates the maximum height for a trailer. Clearly, the higher your trailer relative to the track of its wheels, the more unstable it will be. Go too high and you will strike a bridge!

Fishguard has a history of the fishing industry and can be found in South West Wales on the northern edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
