When towing a heavy trailer the front end of the tow vehicle may be forced upwards by the weight pushing down on the towbar. Make sure that you adjust your headlight beam downwards to prevent dazzling oncoming drivers with your lights.
Most comprehensive insurance policies will cover your trailer 3rd party whilst it is being towed by your car, but not all will. It is your responsibility to contact your insurers and check that you are fully covered before taking your trailer on the road.
You can buy a puncture repair kit that includes a number of sticky corded lengths and a bradle to push it into the tyre, I have seen them online. I have a slow puncture where a screw has penetrated the tread area on the tyre. I was thinking about trying the kit....View Entire Thread
