In the UK the maximum gross weight you can tow with a passenger car is 750kg if the trailer is not fitted with a braking system. Most small box trailers fit into this category.
Always use heavy duty (Typically 5 tonne) Car Recovery Straps. Light weight straps are simply not up to the job of securing a heavy car to the trailer in the event of emergency manouvers.
I see that you can buy a set of magnetic trailer lights that will just stick to your trailer (if its metal of course). I've not seen anybody using them personaly, have any of you guys tried these and if so were they any good?...View Entire Thread
Situated in Flintshire, North Wales, Mold lies on the banks of the River Alyn. With a population of circa 10,000 people, Mold used to be the County Town of Clwyd up untill 1996. The name Mold is derived from Norman-French and means High Hill. The town grew up around the now ruined Mold Castle, built by Robert de Montalt in around 1140, and the site of frequent battles between English and Welsh forces.
