Recovery winches differ from smaller 4x4 winches and boat winches. A recovery winch is far larger with a higher pull rating, thicker cable and stronger hook. In the interests of safety, only use a recovery winch to recovery a car
You do not necessarily require a very large electric winch to recover cars onto your transporter. Smaller 4x4 style winches will do the job but be aware that the drum speed may be much slower than that of a larger winch.
When i press the brake pedal on my Citroen C8 the brakes make a loud squeaking sound. The brakes work fine but they make this annoying noise.
