There are a number of laws governing the towing of trailers in the UK. Make sure you have the correct licence, a vehicle that can legally pull the load that you intend to pull and that the vehicle and trailer or in good working order.
When unloading a car from a car trailer be extremely carefull. Make sure there is nobody standing behind the trailer and do not simply assume that the brakes or winch will hold firm.
I'm after a P38. I know, they are unreliable etc but I am good at fixing cars so I am prepared to risk it. I'd prefer a V8 and am after a LPG converted one, as I don't want a noisy diesel. Any advice on the conversion would be appreciated....View Entire Thread

Peebles is located at the juncture between the River Tweed and Eddleston Water. It is a Scottish town with some ancient buildings and lots of history. Originally the town had a wall to protect it but only parts of the wall remain. The nearest large city is Edinburgh to the north.
