There are a number of laws governing the towing of trailers in the UK. Make sure you have the correct licence, a vehicle that can legally pull the load that you intend to pull and that the vehicle and trailer or in good working order.
Is your winch broken or unserviceable? If so do not panic. You can use ratchet straps to pull the car a few inches at a time up onto your load bed. Use two straps and alternate between them.
I own a Citroen C8 and inten taking the car to France in a few weeks time. There are no obvious markings on the lense to show where I should tape off to stop the lights from dazling oncoming vehicles. Peebles is located at the juncture between the River Tweed and Eddleston Water. It is a Scottish town with some ancient buildings and lots of history. Originally the town had a wall to protect it but only parts of the wall remain. The nearest large city is Edinburgh to the north.
