The maximum speed you can travel on UK motorway or dual carriageway with a trailer is 60mph. This assumes that there are no road works or other speed limits in force (i.e. 30mph restrictions), the fastest you travel on single carriageway is 50mph.
Many modern cars do not have a fixed towing point, instead they have a screw in towing eye. Unfortunately, after a few years, rust and dirt make it impossible to screw the eye in. In this event, find a secure point underneath the car instead.
I have an old swift caravan, single axle and as soon as I get above 50mph it will start to snake and weave behind me, taking the car with it. It is very un-nearving and is putting me off using the van. Any practical advice would be appreciated....View Entire Thread

The famous Spa town of Harrogate is located in the North Yorkshire, England. The towns spa waters were thought to have healing properties and the sick and lame would come for miles around to bath in the waters in the hope of getting better. Today Harrogate has some interesting architecture and the nearest town is Knaresborough to the north east.
