It is far cheaper to buy breakdown cover in advance from one of the major providers (AA, RAC, Green Flag etc) than to have to pay for recovery when your car actually stops at the edge of the road. You can obtain breakdown cover for as little as £30.
The maximum speed you can travel on UK motorway or dual carriageway with a trailer is 60mph. This assumes that there are no road works or other speed limits in force (i.e. 30mph restrictions), the fastest you travel on single carriageway is 50mph.

A particularily useful list of contact phone numbers and business addresses for Car Delivery Companies in your local region. A number of these companies don't have a web presence so you will not be able find them the normal Google search listings. Its simple, just quickly browse through the list of business names and details on the page, select a company near you and give them a ring!
