The best way to avoid a very heavy trailer from snaking is to load it correctly. Make sure that the weight is toward the front and there is little or no rear overhang.
When towing with a normal passenger car in the UK the maximum permissible width for a trailer is 2.3 meters. However, the load attached to the trailer can overhang the sides by up to 30cm on each side giving a total width of 2.9m.
Anybody know what the standard service interval is for caravan wheel bearings. I am sure I can detect a rumbling noise transmitting itself through the towbar from the caravan. Are they the same a normal trailer wheel bearings as I have changed trailer bearings before. Thanks in advance for any help....View Entire Thread
