There is currently no legislation that stipulates the maximum height for a trailer. Clearly, the higher your trailer relative to the track of its wheels, the more unstable it will be. Go too high and you will strike a bridge!
A large 4x4 vehicle is your best bet when considering a tow vehicle for heavy towing. Smaller 4x4s and sallon cars do not have the legal Train Weight to enable you to tow a car on a trailer.

Wisbech is a town in East Anglia, UK. The River Nene runs through Wisbech and on towards the North Sea. In 1086 Wisbech Castle was constructed by William 1st to help fortify the town however later during Tudor time the castle became a notorious prison, and was even used to imprison two of the participants in the Gun Powder Plot.
