Try to choose a car transporter that has ramps that load underneath the load bed, ideally sliding in from the rear of the transporter. This keeps the ramps out of the way and secure.
It is widely believed that car transporters do not require and MOT or road TAX. This is incorrect, there are a few exceptions but a standard recovery truck with a beaver tail and ramps requires both MOT and TAX, regardless of the Logbook
The gear stick shifter in my manual diesel 2.5 range rover P38 does not centralise. I keep accidently selecting 1st gear instead of 3rd, its annoying and potentially dangerous. Is this a common fault with the 2.5 manual gearbox or am I in for a big garage repair bill....View Entire Thread
