The town of Barmouth can be found in the historic county of Gwynedd, northwest Wales. Barmouth lies on the estuary of the River Mawddach, Cardigan Bay. Although quite remote, the town is served by a railway station so visitors to the town, particularily those from the West Midlands can visit easily.
