It is far cheaper to buy breakdown cover in advance from one of the major providers (AA, RAC, Green Flag etc) than to have to pay for recovery when your car actually stops at the edge of the road. You can obtain breakdown cover for as little as £30.
If your tow vehicle has a GVW of less than 3.5 tonnes then the maximum permissible weight of any trailer you pull will also be 3.5 tonnes. This is only applicable if the trailer is fitted with either an overrun or electrical braking system.
The gas hob in our caravan is past its best. I have seen some caravans with a dual fuel hob, with one electric hob and three gas burners. Has anybody tried one of these cooking hobs and found it useful?...View Entire Thread
