When unloading a car from a car trailer be extremely carefull. Make sure there is nobody standing behind the trailer and do not simply assume that the brakes or winch will hold firm.
You do not necessarily require a very large electric winch to recover cars onto your transporter. Smaller 4x4 style winches will do the job but be aware that the drum speed may be much slower than that of a larger winch.
Knottingley is historically a glass manufacturing town, located near the A1 motorway and with the River Aire running through it. Knottingley is home to the Ferrybridge Power Station whos cooling towers can be seen for many miles around. One of the most notable things about the town is that it has the last remaining working coal mine in the UK!
Anybody know any tracks with a relaxed attitude to practice days? I have been to Camberley and although everybody was nice and helpful it was all quite formal and busy so not much track time.
