Any car transporter trailer should be fitted with a hitch that includes an overrun brake mechanisim. Make sure that this mechanism is functioning correctly (Not Seized) and keep it well lubricated.
Traffic on a motorway is travelling very fast. If you need to return to the motorway from the hard shoulder, use the hard shoulder to gain speed until you are travelling fast enough to merge with the Motorway traffic.

Just been working on the car and I cannot undo one of the manifold nuts, its quite corroded and has rounded off when I tried to undo it with a socket, now I am completely stuck.
