If your tow vehicle has a GVW of less than 3.5 tonnes then the maximum permissible weight of any trailer you pull will also be 3.5 tonnes. This is only applicable if the trailer is fitted with either an overrun or electrical braking system.
The stated kerb weight of a vehicle often allows for a driver and a tank of fuel. Therefore the actual weight of the car on your trailer may be quite a bit less than the stated kerb weight.

The front of my caravan has lost its shine and has faded. This is the entire front that appears to be moulded plastic of fibre glass. I don't want to paint it, my local store recomend a polish but I have tried turtle wax and it doesn't really make a difference. Any secret cures I should know about?...View Entire Thread
