Try to choose a car transporter that has ramps that load underneath the load bed, ideally sliding in from the rear of the transporter. This keeps the ramps out of the way and secure.
It is perfectly legal for your load to overhang the rear end of your trailer. However, if the overhang is over 1m it should be marked with a bright flag. Go over 2m and you will require an illuminated marker board.

Set on the northern bank of the Thames Estuary Southend is a seaside resort that is popular with visitors from east London and the Essex area.
