Traffic on a motorway is travelling very fast. If you need to return to the motorway from the hard shoulder, use the hard shoulder to gain speed until you are travelling fast enough to merge with the Motorway traffic.
There is currently no legislation that stipulates the maximum height for a trailer. Clearly, the higher your trailer relative to the track of its wheels, the more unstable it will be. Go too high and you will strike a bridge!
I had an engine rebuild in my T4 Transporter recently after a cambelt failure and the engine is making quit a loud tapping noise.
