The maximum speed you can travel on UK motorway or dual carriageway with a trailer is 60mph. This assumes that there are no road works or other speed limits in force (i.e. 30mph restrictions), the fastest you travel on single carriageway is 50mph.
Rear engined cars are often Tail Heavy. This can lead to a trailer being unstable. The solution is simple, load the car on the trailer backwards with the engine nearest the trailer hitch.
